The award is given by De La Salle University to faculty members that have demonstrated exemplary research outputs that contribute to nation building.

Prof. Janairo is appointed as Associate Editor of Network Modeling Analysis in Health Informatics and Bioinformatics


Prof. Janairo joins the editorial board of the Springer journal that publishes original research and review articles on computational biology, bioinformatics, machine learning, and allied fields.

Dr. Janairo receives the 2019 ASEAN Youth Eco-Champion Award

The award is given by the ASEAN Environment Ministers in recognition of Dr. Janairo's environmental contributions.

Dr. Janairo received the award during the 15th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Enviroment in Siem Reap, Cambodia, on Oct. 9, 2019.

Systemic Pesticides: A Worldwide Assessment wins the 2018 NAST Outstanding Book Award


The  book which was co-edited by Dr. Janairo was recognized by the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Philippines. The book provides comprehensive information on the dangers posed by neonicotinoids to the environment and non-target species. The book also features abstract translations into Filipino and Spanish.
